The FLM-8009 Flux monitoring system is used for the acquisition and monitoring of the rotor insula-tion of turbo generators. The continuous acquisition of the rotor flux profile allows to detect partial or full short circuits of the rotor winding insulation.
The system operates standalone and provides all necessary interfaces for a continuous monitoring of the rotor winding insulation. The system offers 1 Sensor interface of the connection of an airgap search coil as e.g. the models from the ASC-2000 series. The FLM-8009 requires a reference signal which is synchronised with the rotor. 2 Different inputs are available for the reference: A digital signal input for the connection of the reference sensor (Keyphazor ®) or alternatively a galvanic insulated AC input for the acquisition of the line frequency. Five 4-20mA inputs allows to record machine condi-tion as excitation current, active and reactive power which are required for the data analysis.
The system offers additionally 4 Digital Inputs and 4 Digital Outputs, 4 Relays, 1 Modbus RTU and one Ethernet interface.
The Ethernet Interface is used for the communication with the analysis software, which allows to vis-ualize and analyse the data in real-time. Additionally the system can be connected to the TMS-2000 Database Server to record continuous the acquired signals (Monitoring).
